Cookies are small pieces of data stored in your browser when you visit a website. They let the site remember who you are between page loads, which is what makes it possible to stay signed in as you move around Taongaf.

Taongaf sets a small set of functional cookies, necessary for the Platform to work, on every visit:

• Session cookie — keeps you signed in and remembers who you are as you navigate between pages
• CSRF token cookie — protects forms (like publishing, messaging or checkout) from cross-site request forgery attacks
• Remember-me cookie — if you choose "remember me" at sign-in, keeps you signed in across browser sessions

Separately, Taongaf shows ads served by Google AdSense. Depending on your consent choice with Google (see below), it may set cookies such as:

• Ad-serving and measurement cookies (e.g. __gads, __gpi, IDE, set on doubleclick.net / googlesyndication.com) — used to show ads and measure how they perform

We don't run our own cross-site ad network and don't sell cookie data ourselves — these cookies are set and controlled by Google, under Google's advertising cookie policy.

The functional cookies above are strictly necessary to operate the Platform and don't require consent — a banner still notes them on your first visit, simply as a courtesy notice. Advertising cookies are different and are governed by Google directly: if you're in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, Google's own consent dialog asks for your choice before any ad-personalization or ad-measurement cookies are set; elsewhere, non-personalized ads may be shown by default under Google's policies.

The Cookie settings link in the footer reopens this site's general notice, and you can block or delete any cookie through your browser's settings — blocking the functional ones will likely sign you out or prevent forms from submitting correctly. To manage or withdraw your advertising-cookie consent with Google directly, visit Google's Ad Center.

If the cookies we use change, we'll update this page with a new "Last updated" date and describe what changed.
